Can Massage Therapy help with Plantar Fasciitis?

Transcutaneous Electrical Nerve Stimulation (TENS) units are increasingly recognized as a valuable tool in managing shoulder pain, particularly in
physiotherapy settings. These devices deliver low-voltage electrical impulses through the skin, which can help alleviate pain by interrupting the pain signals sent to the brain.
TENS units operate on the principle of pain gate control theory, TENS can effectively reduce the perception of pain, allowing patients to engage more fully in their rehabilitation exercises. This is particularly beneficial for individuals undergoing shoulder pain physiotherapy
TENS operates on different frequencies- convention, burst and acupuncture like. The new TENS units have pre set programs for being user friendly and come with a guided book for the same. A Physiotherapist can always help you understand the use of these programs and their efficacy in different conditions and demands.
